As Chap Ken Mathews wonderfully reminded us on Sunday, "God is bigger than your name." Jabez means "pain." Nevertheless, in spite of his painful past, God provided a promising future to bless him by providing, protecting, and guiding him to a productive life free from pain. This was because Jabez asked for it. "And God granted his request" to have a greater capacity to reach others for God. In the same way, God will grant your request.
